Hi all,
Please excuse the cross post, but I'd really like to find someone with experience to talk with. If you know any teachers who have worked with burn victims would you pass along my email? My regular email address is: lisa @ cedarandfir.com
The son of a good friend of mine was in a house fire in early August. He suffered 3rd degree burns over his back and arms. He was in ICU in a Burn center for a month, kept under heavy sedation, and is now quickly recovering. His range of movement is limited but the doctors have okayed him for "anything with the word stretch in it."
The family has asked me to work with him. This is all new territory for me. Anyone have experience to share?
Thanks,
